Roaring Knight Fight
Roaring Knight Fight Simulator
Press Play, then click the game so the keyboard works. The opening asks PC or Mobile. The download is large, about 56 MB, so give it a moment.
Gangstermango's full remake of the Chapter 3 Roaring Knight fight.
Quick start
Press Play, then click the game. That click starts the fight and turns the keyboard on. Keys do nothing until the game itself has been clicked.
The first prompt is PC or Mobile. Z or a tap confirms it. The fight can be played with a keyboard either way, and that is the reliable setup. Movement is the arrow keys or WASD. Z or Space confirms, and holding Z slows the soul. Right after a death, hold Select to respawn.
The download is about 56 MB. On a slow connection, wait for the battle to appear before you click in. The first time an attack shows up, it can stutter. Later passes of that attack are smoother.
Who the Roaring Knight is
The Roaring Knight is the Chapter 3 boss of Deltarune, fought in the Cold Place after the battle with Tenna. The Knight is the one holding the Black Knife.

What a win and a loss do
Losing does not send you to a normal game over. The chapter continues. Bringing the Knight down far enough is still not a normal victory: the Knight gets back up, Susie and Ralsei are swooned, and the scene goes on. A shard from the sword is the BlackShard. The fight does not show who is under the helmet.
How the attacks come
In Deltarune the opening order is Stars, Tracking Swords, Box Splitter, Sword Tunnel, and Rotating Slash, then harder versions of those. Stars and Rotating Slash hit the whole party. Tracking Swords and Box Splitter aim extra hits at whoever is wearing the Shadow Mantle. Sword Tunnel gives almost no invincibility. After 1460 damage, with the Knight under 80% HP, the fight charges and then uses the full-screen attack called Roaring. One more hit after that ends it.
The original fight ends only by attacking. Hold Breath speeds the soul up for the rest of the battle, and a second use does nothing. Susie and Ralsei's talk actions do nothing. Holding Cancel while you move slows the soul to half speed. Timed Rude Busters, with confirm pressed just before the hit, are the damage route, while Kris and Ralsei defend to build TP.
This remake is the same battle with unused attacks added in, and Gangstermango says the attacks are harder. Hold Breath here also raises invincibility, the TP you get from grazing, and your speed, and it stacks if Susie or Ralsei picks their S or R action. You slow the soul by holding Z, not Cancel.
Tips from the project
These are Gangstermango's tips for this remake.
- Choose the Shadow Mantle holder on purpose. Susie has the most HP. Kris stays in front, so a revive can bring Susie and Ralsei back and still leave two turns. Ralsei keeps Heal Prayer, which revives a downed ally for 19% TP. ReviveMints and ReviveDust run out if the mantle is on Susie or Kris.
- If all three attack and every hit is perfect, you get a large TP and damage boost.
- Defending gives TP. If you are getting hit, defend until Ralsei can cast a full defense spell. That spell blocks 7 hits.
- A no-hit turn, which they call flawlessing, gives TP and HP. A flawless boost spell triples those gains and can end the fight quickly.
- Use Rude Buster or X-Slash when you can. The Knight has a lot of HP.
- Hold Breath on Kris raises invincibility, graze TP, and speed. It stacks with Susie or Ralsei's S or R action, which helps if you are getting hit.
Gangstermango's best clear at the time of the instructions was 7 hits and 13 turns. They also say a no-hit clear is possible. The Shadow Mantle itself is Chapter 3 armor from the Sword Route. Anyone except Noelle can wear it, and it cuts the Knight's Dark and Star damage. In the original battle the notes prefer it on Kris, because Susie is the main damage dealer and can be swooned, while Kris is downed instead.
FAQ
Is this Roaring Knight fight simulator free?
Yes. The page is free, and Gangstermango shared the Scratch project for free. Press Play to start. There is no installer.
Can I play it online without a download?
Yes. It runs in the browser after you press Play. The fight is about 56 MB, so the browser still has to fetch it once. That transfer starts when you press Play.
Is it unblocked?
This is a normal website. A school or office filter can still block roaringknightfight.com, or cdn.roaringknightfight.com, which is where the fight loads after you press Play.
Does it work on a phone or a Chromebook?
The page fits a phone. At the start the fight asks PC or Mobile, and a tap can confirm that choice. The battle is built for a keyboard: arrows or WASD, and Z. If the Mobile choice does not respond, use a keyboard. A Chromebook can open the page and play with its keyboard.
Who made the fight?
Gangstermango made FULL Roaring Knight remake. Toby Fox made Deltarune. Roaring Knight Fight is a fan site and is not affiliated with either of them.
